My Kind of Burger Night

I enjoy a burger as much as the next person. I just like mine a little more gourmet :) These are great to cook for friends! They will adore them! On the side, I love delicious truffled french fires - so addictive!!! You will want to make a lot because I assure you, you will be snacking on these before it's dinner time!

Burgers -

1/2 pound ground chuck
1/2 pound ground sirloin
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon ketchup
Kosher Salt & Pepper

Gently mix all ingredient together, being careful not to over mix. Shape into 4 patties. Heat a grill, or grill pan, to medium-high heat. Cook for 7 minutes on one side, then flip once, and cook another 7 minutes.

My toppings of choice:

Gruyere Cheese
Caramelized Onions
Oven Roasted Tomatoes

Truffled Oven Fries

5 Russet Potatoes
1/4 cup olive oil
Kosher Salt & Pepper
1/2 cup grated fresh parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons chopped Italian parsley
Truffle Oil
Nonstick spray

Preheat oven to 425

Peel potatoes and cut into 1/2 inch thick fries. Make sure they are all cut the same size so they cook evenly. Bring a large pot of water to a gentle boil. Boil the potatoes for 6 minutes. Drain carefully and put into a bowl. Add the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Place on a nonstick cookie sheet that has been sprayed with a nonstick spray (make sure there is just one layer) and cook for 15 minutes, then flip the fries and cook for another 15 minutes. Or until lightly browned.

When they are done, toss with fresh parmesan, parsley, & truffle oil. Enjoy :)
